Weird or Different?

Weird.  Not exactly what one hopes to be called.  However, it is exactly how the Tiny Teen greeted me when I picked her up from school last week.  "Hi Mommy, you look weird."  Gee thanks, is what I thought.  I had my hair styled very differently than usual.  I was already unsure about it, and the honest "weird" comment from my 4 year old didn't help any.  On the drive home, she proceeds to say, "I like your hair mommy."  Confused, I said, "do you know what weird means?"  Long story short, she thought weird meant different, so I had to explain that weird was "bad" different, where as "different" could go either way.

With all of that being said you might be thinking, what weird thing has Lisa cooked up today?  That's where I'll have to interrupt and say, it's different...not weird.  Today's recipe is from the Every Day with Rachael Ray magazine, and it's called Eggs in Clouds.  Pretty descriptive title, eh?

This is one of the recipes, where curiosity got the better of me.  I thought it looked peculiar, possibly not appetizing, but I knew for sure I was going to make it.  Well surprise of all surprises, it's actually quite tasty.  I know, you're cocking your head to the side and saying, "really?"  But yes, really.  I thought it just might end up being a fun experiment, but I will say that I enjoyed it.  It was very quick to make, and I will definitely make it again.  The bacon, the chives, and the cheese bring a lot of flavor to these little clouds.  They are like fluffy, little, omelet-y-ish eggs.

If curiosity is calling your name, answer it with an Egg in a Cloud.  Let me know what YOU think!  Enjoy!!
